Karan was a Bodyshots 2014 finalist before he joined “Mister ng Pilipinas 2015.”  He is 23 years old and stands 6 feet and 2 inches. He has dominant Indian blood but has a heart of a pure pinoy. A Hotel and Restaurant Management student, he was born and raised in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Karan was not a new comer in the world of pageantry as he has joined and won some pageants in the past like MSI Modelling School Incorporated where he won as the grand champion, Mr. STI (won 2nd runner-up), Eat Bulaga’s“My Foreignoy” where he was a semi-finalist, Ginoong Sta. Rosa (1st runner-up), Ginoong Laguna (1st runner-up), and Ambasador 2015 where he won as the Grand Champion.

He started his modelling career in 2012 and was able to model for some top brands and designers of the country. Being one of the regular mannequins of Philippine fashion week, he has worked with some of the top featured designers of this modeling event. He has also modeled for Bench and was the brand ambassador of SM Sucat and Bicutan. He has also modeled for Cosmo Bachelors show.  Aside from ramp modeling, he has also done print adsand appeared in a billboard for San Jose Real Estate.

Karan will be wearing a national costume creation of yours truly for the national costume competition of Man of the Year. His costume is inspired by from the Tiboli tribes of Mindanao but I put a little twist in the design. The basic outfit is a vest, pants which is fully beaded with wooden beads and matched with a golden “salakot” head dress accented by asarimanok element.
