In this interview, Cristine Reyes consider 2016 as another chapter of her life. She revealed that she and the father of her child, Ali Joshua Khatibi, a jujitsu instructor, are getting married on January 27, 2016, and she shared some of the details for this coming wedding.

“Magandang-maganda ang pasok ng 2016 para sa akin, like bagong taon, bagong movie, and bagong buhay kapiling ang mga mahal ko sa buhay,” she happily said.

When asked on her wedding preparations, Cristine replied, “Actually simple lang namany ung wedding naming, para lang ma-blessed and ma-legalized yung pagsasama namin ni Ali. Siguro witnesses lang, then ang wife ng pastor and si pastor. Gagawin lang namin sa isang private beach.”

Cristine is also hoping for a bigger church wedding which will happen any time this year. She was also asked why her own family and the family of her soon- to-be husband were not invited in the wedding ceremony? She said,  “Actually sila pa nga ang nag sabi na gusto nila ma-legalized at ma-blessed ang pagsasama naming. At alam naman nila lahat nasa church wedding mas makakasama namin sila ng lahat. Talagang we are planning na magawa namin this year kasi busy si Alysa work n’ya, ako naman may mga commitments na din.”

With her return in showbiz, Cristine was also looking forward for more projects to come. But as a working mom and a wife, is she going to be more selective in accepting projects?

“Depende po siguro yun sa project ko,” she stressed. “I’m sure maiintindihan naman ni Al yang mga bagay. Trabaho lang naman ito. Siguro tamang paliwanagan lang maintindihan naman po n’ya ang lahat.”

As a mom right now, kasi hindi na ako yung happy go lucky ngayon. Ma siniisip ko yung future namin, future ng baby ko. Kaya dun nag kakaroon nang direction ang buhay ko,” she explained.

As one of the most in demand cover girls in men’s magazine, Cristine is not discounting the fact of posing again, if only done with taste. “Hindi ko pa masabi ngayon, kung kaya ko,  bakit hindi. Hindi naman ako nag sasalita ng tapos,” she said.
