Gal Gadot, former Miss Israel-Universe 2004, is now the Milennial’s Wonder Woman

Next week, March 26 to be exact, the biggest battle from the Justice League franchise Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will blast the silver screens worldwide. Henry Cavill and Amy Adams will reprise their roles as Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane, while Ben Affleck will be introduced as the new Bruce Wayne/Batman, and Jesse Eisenber as Lex Luthor. But what makes the blockbuster action flick more exciting is the inclusion of another legendary female super hero, Wonder Woman, to be played by beauty queen-model-turned-actress, Israeli statuesque (5’10’), Gal Gadot.
A combat instructor at the age of 18 when she joined the Israeli Defense Forces for two years, she later joined the beauty contest. After her years in military service, she pursued her university degree and wanted to be a lawyer. But after her first year, a casting director saw her and she was invited to audition for James Bond (Quantum of Solace), but the role went to Olga Kurylenko. Instead, she was hired to play Gisele in Fast & Furious (Part 4) film series. In 2013, she was invited by director Zack Snyder with no particular role. But in 2013, it was announced that she was chosen to play the role of the female hero. Aside from two more the Dawn of Justice series, Gal, 30, will be launched in her solo Wonder Woman film to be released in 2017.
Married to Israeli estate developer Yaron Varsano in 2008, they are blessed with a baby girl. She is the face of Gucci’s Bamboo perfume and ranked No. 5 by Shalom Life, on the list of “50 most talented, intelligent, funny and gorgeous Jewish women in the world. She is far behind model Bar Refaeli (former girlfriend of Leo DiCaprio) and actress Eva Green.
