Former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis Chavit Singson is known to be close to anybody in showbiz. As a politician, his name is easily link to any beautiful and sexy actress because of his generosity and kindness. Recently, his name is being dragged again. This time with no other than but the concert queen, Pops Fernandez.

Although he admitted that he’s close to Pops, the governor was quick to explain the real score between them. “Magkaibigan lang kami ni Pops at madalas kaming lumabas pero with a group. Although that time na nni li-link kami, may boyfriend s’ya.

Manong Chavit gave a message to people who misconstrue their friendship,  “Well, wala tayong magagawa d’yan dahil yung mga ganyang tao walang magawa sa buhay.

Known by his friends as a matchmaker, he has successfully paired one of his showbiz friends, Vina Morales, with her present partner.

Now that it is election fever, Manong Chavit said that he gives his full support to his friend, the “People’s Champ” and Saranggani Representative, Manny Pacquiao in his candidacy for the senatorial race in next year’s election.

“I gave him an advice bilang isang kaibigan,” said the boxer’s mentor. Meanwhile, he’s in New York now to support Pacquiao who’s receiving an award in recognition for his boxing achievement.

On the other hand, the former governor was asked, who is he going to support for president this 2016 election?
