All the young showbiz aspirants he left behind echoed a single sentiment now: Who will give them the same fatherly love and guidance that Kuya Germs had showered them?

The name German Moreno is almost synonymous to what entertainment should be – all about glittery, like his sequined wardrobe, fun like the “payaso” persona he is known for, and truly entertaining – the very reason he is the Master Showman.
The showbiz world is in mourning in Kuya Germs passing. It came as a surprise toa ll his friends and followers, and a really sad way to greet the new year of 2016.
Kuya Germs passion and love for show business is unparalleled. His entire career revolved in his quest to give opportunities to talented people to get a shot at stardom. A handful of well-known celebrities we have today were once under the care and guidance of the Master Showman.

Undeniably, he is the Star builder.

But for the younger generation of artists who are now making names because of the Master Showman’s touch, they will always be thankful to him.
We had a chance to talk to three of his visible talents nowadays, namely, Jak Roberto, Marlo Mortel, and Jake Vargas, on the first night of his wake at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Shrine. They might be broken with the passing of their tatay, but they have spoken of Kuya Germs with high regard and so much respect.

I am lucky enough na isa ako sa naging alaga ni Kuya Germs.”Jak also affirmed the kind of generosity the Master Showman had shown them as a manager.
Sa kanya pa minsan ang gastos,” he said. The young actor also fondly remembered the one time he asked financial help from Kuya Germs.

Marlo will always be grateful to Kuya Germs for having that faith in his talent when he was still starting in his career.
With a bit of regret, Marlo related that he was not able to answer Kuya Germs phone call two days before the TV hosts’ demise.
Marlo also shared that not everyone knows and how fortunate he was that he was given the kind of attention by Kuya Germs.
“Alam naman ng marami na matulungin siya, pero more than that, minsan mismong bulsa na niya ang ginagamit niya sa’WalangTulugan, para mabigyan niya ang lahat. Saka talagan gbukal sa loob niya. Walang hinihinging kapalit talaga,” he recalled.
Everybody knows that Jake is the Master Showman’s most priority among his many talents. That is why for all the good things and ‘breaks’ that Kuya Germs had given him, the actor will never cease to be thankful of the TV host.

The actor can hardly speak and seem to be on the verge of tears when we spoke to him.
