He said: “Kahit anong project it doesn’t matter, as long as maganda ang script.
She said: “Of course. As an actor you have to be open to these things to grow.”
Sometime this month, the much-awaited movie of LizQuen (Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil), Everyday I Love You will be released in theaters nationwide. It is produced by Star Cinema and directed by Mae Czarina Cruz. It is a love triangle, with Gerald Anderson comnleting the picture.
At the pictorial for the poster of the said movie, the duo shared their thoughts and opinion about their latest project.
Enrique said ” itong movie namin na ito ngayon ay isang rom-dram (romantic-drama), so more serious and a much higher level. They want to show a different side of us, the more serious, and more mature. Definitely, the story is more mature,” he said.
The young leading man admitted that he made big adjustment for the role. “Nanibago ako,” he stressed. “Usually kasi yung mga roles ko na si Enrique na makulit. So, this role, ito yung medyo formal at ayaw n,ya na nag e-enjoy. Gusto puro work, work, work lang talaga.”
On Liza’s role, she said, “I played Audrey, and she’s 21 years old. She’s a college graduate and has a boyfriend. Honestly, medyo nahirapan ako mag-adjust ng role ko as compared to my previous movie (Just The Way You Are). Kasi doon bagets yung role. Tapos dito I have to act as a 21-year old. But I guess everything went well.”
Liza also shared her experience working with Gerald. “Noong una nanniibago po ako kasi hindi ako sanay na may dalawang partners sa movie. Pero masayang kasama si Gerald, sobrang kulit nya kasi marami na kaming mga na shoot na sequel na kaming dalawa lang, so nakikilala na namin ang isa’t isa and he’s very fun to work with. At marami na siyang naturo sa akin, mga tips in acting, tips sa career, and also sa business. And we talked about things we both enjoy, at mga hobbies niya,” she said.
We asked Liza and Enrique if they are now ready to work with other partners.
Enrique was quick to reply, “Walang problema sa akin, o sa amin yun. Sa ngayon, baka hindi pa, pero kung sa future o sa mga darating na araw, why not. Just remember, trabaho lang.”
“Oo naman po, syempre,” Liza answered. “Hindi puedeng naka stick to one ka lang kasi that’s the reason why you are an actor. You are suppose to be versatile when it comes to your emotions. You have to experience different things and ayaw ko naman na ang tingin ng ibang tao na isa lang ang kaya kong gawin. And definitely, if management gives me another project, another partner and another genre, gusto ko yun. It will make me a better performer.”
When Lizquen was asked what’s the real score between them, “Okay kami, sobra,” stressed Enrique.
Liza was asked if there are chances for the two of them (Enrique Gil) to become real lover. “Manliligaw lang naman po, it means he’s going to try. Open naman po ako kasi dati po di naman ako nag e-entertain ng suitors,” she shared.
On the other hand, there’s a rumor that the producer of the top-grossing historical film Heneral Luna, is eyeing her to portray Josephine Bracken in their next movie. “Gusto ko yon,” she quipped, “at least mas ibang level ng maturity. Siguro they have to prepare me for that. But I’m always open. Sino ba naman ang ayaw gumanap ng isang historical role. It’s going to be very challenging.”
Meanwhile, Liza would like to thank all the friends of LizQuen who gave their overwhelming and solid love and support for Enrique after the controversies that hounded him during their London trip for ASAP Kapamilya Caravan.
