Soon, a new balladeer is set to invade the  music scene. And he will surely make you feel good with his music and his soothing voice.

Since he was launched as a singer last year, LA. Santos, dubbed as the “Singing Idol” has gone a long way. For the past months, he has been doing gigs as guest performer or front acts with international artists, like Patti Austin, The Stylistics and Air Supply, both held in Solaire Resorts and Casino.  Aside from being young, he has the looks to match his romantic voice.

Because of his dedication to his craft, and the discipline he has imbued in his newfound career, L.A. got the nod of Star Music to be one of  their contract recording artists. “I’m so excited with the release of my debut album,” said the young singer. “Definitely, it feels very good po na maging part ng Star Music and very excited po talaga ako kasi soon ilu-launch na yung first album ko na talagang pinaghirapan namin na maging maganda ang result. We will be launching end of this month po.”

For L.A., being a newbie in the industry, being part of an establish recording company is the best thing that could happen in any one’s career. ” I’m very blessed and thankful po dahil sa tiwalang binigay nila sa akin.

Some of the cuts included in the album are “Mine,”“Ms. Terror,”“One Greatest Love,”“Break-Up Day,” and other interesting love songs. Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your M
an,”
and Angeline Quinto’s “Hanggang Kailan” are also part of the collection with the accompaniment of a full-orchestra.

To make the album more special, L.A. also recorded the song “Forever is Not Enough” as a duet version with his younger sister, Kanishia Santos.  His mentor Joel Mendoza, who is also the line producer, is all smiles with the outcome of their intial venture with Star Music. Some of the composers who contributed songs in the album are Garth Garcia and Garry Cruz.

For the meantime, L.A. will be one of the featured artists in the upcoming show “Killing Me Softly…with Your Love” this coming Tuesday March 21, 8 P.M. at the Historia Boutique Bar (#5 Sgt. Esguerra Ave, QC, near GMA 7), along with Garie Concepcion, Tori Garcia and Altitude.7 band. He will also perform as special guest at the concert “Kings and Queens of OPM” on April 29, 2017 (Saturday, 8 P.M.), at Resorts World Manila.
