Meet Erika, Sarah, and Rayantha…Young Minds, Big Voices and a Mother’s Delight.

At their young age, these three teenage divas are slowly inching their way in achieving their dreams.

Since kids, they love to sing. Now that they have started to make a name of their own in the music scene, they have found comfort with each other and eventually became the best of friends, and they are all talented. Meet the new singing stars of the millennials – Erika Mae Salas (15), Sarah Ortega (15) and Rayantha Leigh (13). Even if they are professionally competing with each other, once they are off stage, they are just any normal teenagers. In fact, when they have a show, they see to it that they do a production number where they share the spotlight together, aside from their individual performances.

According to “Teen Pop Doll” Erika Mae: “Very happy kami palagi, kasi madalas po kami nagsasamang tatlo (Sarah) at (Rayantha). Iba din kasi yun pakiramdam kapag close mo talaga yun mga nakakasama mo sa work especially on stage, kaya happy po talaga ako sa samahan namin, para po kaming magakakapatid na din.”

Recently, Erika Mae received an award as the “Outstanding New Talent in Entertainment” given by Global Pinoy Web Radio Awards 2017. But before that, she also received another award, the “Dangal ng Bayan Most Outstanding Teen Pop Artist” during the 35th Seal of Excellence Consumers Quality award, then followed by the World Excellence Japan-Philippines Award – Young Achievers 2017 as the “Most Outstanding Teen Pop Artist.”

On the other hand, Sarah, known as ‘The Millennials Class Empress,” was also awarded as “Most Outstanding Teen Pop Artist” by the Global Pinoy Web Radio Awards. “I’m also very happy with our friendship, kasi iba yun bonding naming tatlo talaga, at siempre nagkakaintindihan kami kasi isa lang po ang hiling namin, ang kumanta,” she said. Sarah’s single, “Unchanging Heart” is getting positive feedback, and fast gaining support on YouTube. And because of this, the more she’s inspired to work harder, especially in honing her craft. And eventually reach her goal to be a successful performer and recording artist.

While Rayantha, who is an honor student, is very hopeful that their friendship will last long. ” Sa akin naman po sobrang happy ako kasi iba yung samahan talaga namin tatlo, solid po talaga at sana po mas tumagal ang pagkakaibigan namin, lalo na po dito sa showbiz, and I hope tumagal din po kami sa pagkanta,” she stressed. As good daughters to their parents, especially to their moms, who are always there to support them of their dreams. Since Mother’s Day is just a few days away, what message can these three little divas tell their ever-supportive parents, especially their moms? “Sobrang thankful po ako sa mga parents ko, lalo na sa mama ko gagawin ko po ang lahat para kahit paano may mapatunayan po ako sa kanila at worth it po ang lahat ng tulong nila para sa karir ko,” said Erika.

“Sa parents ko po, thank thank you sa lahat ng sarcifices nyo sa akin at pagbubutihin ko po iyun mga sinimulan ko para po sa inyo.” Meanwhile, Rayantha, who is the spoiled girl of the three, said: “Ako din po wala na po ako masasabi kasi lahat naman po binibigay ng mga parents ko ang sobrang thank you kasi nandiyan sila palagi sa akin sa lahat ng mga needs ko.” These three young singers are now Erase Teen ambassadress and managed by entertainment editor, Ann Vinancio.
